UNAM celebrated a historic academic achievement with the promotion of Dr. Wesley Pieters to Associate Professor in Industrial Psychology—the first of its kind at the institution. A dedicated UNAM graduate, Prof. Pieters advanced through resilience, strategic planning, and consistent contributions across teaching, research, and community engagement. His leadership marks a significant step toward recognizing Industrial/Organisational Psychology as a formal discipline in Namibia.
