Description:
UNAM’s Hifikepunye Pohamba Campus hosted a celebratory launch of former President Dr. Hifikepunye Pohamba’s autobiography Ondjila Eyi Aenda (“The Footprints of Hifikepunye Pohamba”), reflecting on his personal journey, Namibia’s liberation struggle, and nation-building legacy. Co-authored with Prof. Ellen Ndeshi Namhila, the book underscores the transformative power of resilience and memory. With proceeds funding agriculture scholarships, the event reinforced UNAM’s educational and historical stewardship, inspiring learners, educators, and community members to engage deeply with Namibia’s collective past.
