Description:
Third-year Early Childhood Education students from UNAM’s Khomasdal Campus brought stories to life during a Readathon Week excursion to Olof Palme Primary School in Katutura. As part of the “Easy Read-Aloud Community Engagement Project,” students engaged learners with multilingual storytelling using hand-crafted “Big Books.” The initiative fostered literacy development, language enrichment, and community connection, while allowing student teachers to apply pedagogical theory through hands-on practice. The joyful event underscored reading as a powerful tool in early learning and social impact.
