The University of Namibia (UNAM) celebrates the achievement of recent graduate Ndapewa Shilume, who has been awarded a prestigious scholarship by the French Embassy to pursue a Master’s degree in Prehistoric Archaeology at the National Museum of Natural History in Paris. A graduate of the Humanities and Arts Department, Ndapewa’s studies will focus on lithic analysis, contributing to the understanding of human technological development. This milestone reflects growing international collaboration in archaeology and builds on research ties with scholars such as Prof. David Pleurdeau. Ndapewa’s scholarship marks a significant step toward advancing archaeological research and heritage preservation in Namibia.
