On 8 August 2024, the University of Namibia (UNAM), the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), the International University of Management (IUM), and the National Commission for Research, Science and Technology (NCRST) jointly hosted Namibia Higher Education Day (NaHED) at UNAM Main Campus. The event brought together government ministries, TVET institutions, researchers, students, and international partners to address challenges and opportunities in the national education landscape. Led by the Ministry of Higher Education, Culture and Innovation, NaHED focused on aligning higher education with Namibia’s evolving science, technology, and innovation needs, promoting collaboration, inclusive development, and a future-ready curriculum.
