dc.description.abstract The main purpose of this study was to assess information accessibility to youth migrants in urban areas, Windhoek, Namibia, targeting youths between 15-35. Structured questionnaires were administered to three institutions, DRFN in Windhoek, KA YEC in Katutura and Rossing Foundation in Khomasdal. A total number of respondents including 40 males and 44 females were obtained. Observation, on the youths that stand along the selected junctions and along the roadside, was carried out. Face to face interviews, with informants, one with the Ministry of Labour, and second with the Psychology Department, University of Namibia, also took place trying to find out and understand some aspects such as unemployment that were revealed in the study en_US
dc.description.abstract The study revealed that the youths standing along the roadside hardly have any education thus cannot get proper jobs that can sustain them economically. The youth standing alongside the roads reflected an ignored group in a society, as they were obviously unemployed displaying an atmosphere of poverty en_US
dc.description.abstract The other group of the youths that were enrolled in institutions had an opportunity of getting Information, communicating with others, and to be exposed to technology. The two types of youth groups revealed a situation of those who have completely no access to information as having tough times as jobs are hard to come by. On the other hand the youths enrolled in institutions showed to a certain degree that they had access to information and hopefully they use it to better themselves in job market en_US
