dc.description This study forms part of the project “Support to Namibia in the Fight Against HIV/AIDS among Children and Adolescents Under 16 Years of Age”, funded by the Family Federation of Finland (Väestöliitto), the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, and other Finnish NGOs. Following an external evaluation of the project, the Namibia Planned Parenthood Association (NAPPA) was identified as the primary implementing partner. NAPPA a registered welfare organisation and full member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation—works alongside government ministries and NGOs to advance sexual and reproductive health and rights in underserved communities across Namibia. The Social Sciences Division of the Multidisciplinary Research and Consultancy Centre (MRCC) at the University of Namibia conducted the Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices (KAP) study to assess community-level understanding and behaviours related to HIV/AIDS among children and adolescents in the project area. The KAP findings provide evidence to guide programme improvement, strengthen SRHR interventions, and support coordinated efforts targeting HIV prevention and care for young people. en_US
