dc.description This paper is the fourth in a series of studies linked to the Oshakati Human Settlement Improvement Project (OHSIP), undertaken by the Social Sciences Division of the Multi‑Disciplinary Research Centre at the University of Namibia. It builds on earlier SSD Discussion Papers that examined the project’s preliminary socio‑economic conditions, the historical development of the town of Oshakati, and the informal economy and income‑generation activities within the settlement. The current paper continues this research effort by expanding the understanding of human settlement dynamics in Oshakati within the broader OHSIP framework. en_US
