dc.description This study forms part of the evaluation of the Northern Regions Livestock Development Project (NOLIDEP) and examines crop livestock systems in the Caprivi Region. Focusing on two pilot sites Chinchimani, located on higher, drier ground, and Kabbe, situated near the floodplain the research assesses how ecological differences shape agricultural practices. Using oral interviews and multiple data‑collection methods, the study documents cattle diseases, soil and field types, livestock marketing, cropping patterns, and seasonal agricultural cycles. The findings contribute to understanding the effectiveness of current project interventions and identify recommendations for improving integrated crop and livestock development in the region. en_US
