dc.description This study forms Part One of a socio‑economic investigation of the Rehoboth Gebiet, conducted in cooperation with the Rehoboth Development and Investment Corporation in 1987. Its purpose was to document the social and economic characteristics of the Rehoboth population and to understand community perspectives on future development. Using a structured household survey across Rehoboth town, six surrounding villages, and nearby farms, the research captured demographic, economic, and social data to support informed planning. The publication serves as a foundational database for further decision‑making concerning development in the traditional Easter community, drawing on extensive statistical analyses compiled separately in Part Two. en_US
