dc.description On 23 April 2025, UNAM’s School of Nursing and Public Health held its annual Oath-Taking and Awards Ceremony at the Main Campus, honouring student dedication, academic excellence, and the sacred commitment to caregiving. With speeches from Prof. Louise Pretorius and keynote speaker Ms. Taimi Amaambo, the event highlighted the role of nurses as compassionate leaders in healthcare. A poignant Florence Nightingale Lamp Procession symbolized the light and vigilance nurses bring to society.
