dc.description UNAM’s Mathematics & Science Clinic (MSC) was successfully relaunched in 2024 after a four-year pause, thanks to N$500,000 sponsorship from the Sinomine Tsumeb Community Trust. The six-month initiative supported 895 AS-Level learners across Oshana and Oshikoto with intensive Saturday tutorials in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. The programme led to a measurable rise in exam pass rates for Physics and Chemistry, though Mathematics showed mixed results, prompting targeted efforts in 2025. Beyond student support, the MSC strengthens teacher capacity and STEM pipeline readiness, affirming UNAM’s role in advancing national development through science education. en_US
