dc.description UNAM’s Neudamm Campus is facing severe disruption due to recurrent flooding of the Seeis River, with a deteriorating 1960s pedestrian bridge placing students, staff, and local schoolchildren at risk. The flooding has delayed classes, stranded learners, and impacted daily operations and agricultural livelihoods. Campus leaders Prof. Simon Angombe and Prof. Ndeyapo Nickanor are urgently calling on the Roads Authority to repair the existing infrastructure and construct a flood-resistant bridge. As climate change intensifies, the crisis underscores the need for immediate national intervention to protect education, mobility, and rural resilience. en_US
