dc.description UNAM’s Agri-PV Project conducted an inspiring outreach programme in northern Namibia, introducing 60 learners from three secondary schools to solar energy and agrivoltaics, a fusion of agriculture and photovoltaics. Led by Senior Lecturer Dr. Petja Dobreva and PhD candidate Paulus Weyulu, the programme combined hands-on learning with local relevance, fostering excitement around renewable energy, climate resilience, and sustainable agriculture. Learners responded with curiosity and enthusiasm, and plans are underway to expand the initiative nationally. The project underscores Namibia’s potential as a solar-powered education hub. en_US
