dc.description UNAM Cares, in collaboration with Crowded House Church and COHESA, launched the Sustainable One Health Garden in Dordabis (SOHGARD)—a transformative initiative integrating food and feed production with human, animal, and environmental health. Through capacity building and agroecological practices, 30 rural families are now benefiting from pesticide-free vegetables, sustainable livestock support, and community-driven conservation. Led by UNAM’s One Health pracademics, SOHGARD showcases a holistic approach to wellness, productivity, and local empowerment grounded in Namibia’s socio-cultural context. en_US
