| dc.description | UNAM officially inaugurated its expanded Katima Mulilo Campus on 5 November 2024, with new state-of-the-art facilities for Wildlife Management and Tourism Studies (DWMTS), supported by German Development Cooperation through KfW. Endorsed by President and Chancellor Dr. Nangolo Mbumba, the EUR 20 million investment includes sustainable architecture, modern labs, and regionally integrated training programmes aligned with SADC transboundary resource management. The expansion positions UNAM as a regional hub for conservation education, ecotourism, and interdisciplinary research in the Zambezi Region. | en_US |
