dc.description On 24 October 2024, UNAM inaugurated the Rhino-Halliburton Technology Centre at its Southern Campus, a landmark facility designed to elevate geoscience research and training in Namibia. The N$130 million collaboration—powered by donations from Rhino Resources and Halliburton—includes advanced computing hardware and industry-grade software for exploration and production. The Centre promises transformative learning for students in petroleum geology, engineering geology, geophysics, and data analysis, bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world applications and cementing UNAM’s commitment to scientific excellence. en_US
