| dc.description | Students from UNAM’s Ogongo Campus participated in a week-long academic excursion across Tsumeb and Grootfontein to deepen their understanding of commercial agricultural practices. Under the guidance of lecturer Mr. Lukas Kaholongo, students studying Livestock Production and Agriculture engaged in hands-on learning at various farms, focusing on livestock breeding, horticultural production, silage and Lucerne cultivation, and irrigation techniques. This experiential initiative highlighted the importance of breed standards and sustainable farming methods, preparing students to excel in Namibia’s evolving agricultural sector. | en_US |
