dc.description In the first semester of 2024, the University of Namibia’s School of Medicine welcomed eight international students from leading German universities for elective study placements. Through immersive clinical experiences at Katutura and Central Hospitals, students engaged with Namibia’s unique healthcare challenges, gaining insight into resource-conscious decision-making, bedside teaching, and diverse medical conditions. The elective programme, coordinated by Dr. Yusuf Saad, showcases UNAM’s commitment to global engagement and educational exchange, offering transformative learning that spans medical practice and cultural appreciation. This initiative reinforces UNAM’s position as a destination for comprehensive medical training and international academic collaboration. en_US
