dc.description	The University of Namibia (UNAM) and FernUniversität in Hagen (FUH), Germany’s largest public distance education university, are deepening their international partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2023. This collaboration promotes student and staff exchanges, joint research, and curriculum development. In June 2024, FUH lecturers Dr. Jan-Bennet Voltmer and Dr. Juma Kalyegira visited UNAM to facilitate an R statistics workshop and engage psychology students on academic and career opportunities in Germany. Plans include co-supervised courses, joint theses, and research aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), reinforcing both institutions’ commitment to global academic cooperation and innovation in distance education.	en_US
