dc.description In March 2024, the University of Namibia (UNAM) formalized two strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with NOVANAM and Millennium Refrigeration & Electrical Services (MR&ES), marking a significant step in bridging academia and industry. These partnerships focus on work-integrated education, offering students in engineering, food sciences, and fishery sciences practical attachments that align with curriculum transformation goals. UNAM Vice Chancellor Prof. Kenneth Matengu emphasized the importance of real-world experience in complementing academic qualifications. With 28 students already benefiting from placements, the agreements reflect a shared commitment to developing a skilled, industry-ready workforce and fostering long-term collaboration between higher education and the private secto en_US
