dc.description On February 21, 2024, the University of Namibia held a heartfelt memorial service at the Hage Geingob Campus to honour the late President Dr. Hage Geingob. The event featured emotional tributes from university leadership, including Prof. Judith Hall, Prof. Kenneth Matengu, and Ms. Paulina Elago, who reflected on Dr. Geingob’s enduring legacy in education, youth empowerment, and national development. The service was enriched by moving performances from the UNAM and Hage Geingob Campus Choirs, symbolizing a collective celebration of a visionary leader whose contributions to higher education and public service continue to inspire. en_US
