The first meeting of Namibians and Dutch people happened when the Duch East India Company established a permanent post near the Cape of Good Hope. The book starts with these encounters and continues with the expansion of the southern African version of the Dutch language, Afrikaans.It tells about first diplomatic relationships and a view on Dutch anti-colonial and anti-apartheid movements.
