dc.description.abstract This project analyses the production of controlled crops in Namibia from the period 2004-2011. Controlled crops refers to crops that are administered by the Namibian Agronomic Board in conjunction with Ministry Of Agriculture, Water and Forestry in promoting the agronomic industry and facilitating the production, processing, storage and marketing of these controlled products. The objective of the study is to assess the overall performance of controlled crops namely Mahangu (pearl millet), white maize, wheat and horticultural fresh produce which forms part of these crops in the Namibian economy. A crop situation for the North Central regions of Kavango, Caprivi, Omusati, Ohangwena, Oshikoto and Oshana were analysed for these controlled crops at regional level. en_US
