| dc.description.abstract | This research seeks to find out to what extent African news coverage is affected by different factors influencing news coverage at the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC). This is examined in the light of studies by UNESCO among others, which have shown that the problem of news coverage is that of journalism in general. The problem is less focused on what to put in the news than what to leave out.
