dc.description.abstract The proposed study will investigate the access to information by the rural youth it's a case study in Eenhana village in Ohangwena region in the Northern part of Namibia. The proposed study is going too based on quantitative and qualitative research. The researcher stated the statement of the problem has to be more focusing the information gap on rural youths for them to have able to participate to the country's economic as well as social welfare and determined the factors that will affect the flow of information to their areas in such social infrastructures and physical infrastructures. The researcher is going to assign the groups in different genders (male and female), and has a limitation to the age as from 14 to 31, who will be representing the whole population of rural youth. Sampling is simple random, where everyone has a chance to be included. However, this study will use the following data collection methods interview and questionnaire en_US
dc.description.abstract The research collected the data through structured questionnaires that were administered to 90 rural youth in Eenhana in Ohangwena region as well as interviewed the key informants were expected to be 10 but the researcher reached only 6 key informants in Eenhana in Ohangwena region. The study revealed that some youths have access to information from radio and TV, but the information is not adequate because there were some youths still do not have an idea where to access and how to access to information about education and training, according to the findings. However, the information acquired through these data gathering approaches are affirmative with respect to what we all think is important about rural life. It becomes important information for political, social and economic development in order to keep these resources available in the rural areas, for youth to be able to build upon sustain their futures. en_US
