dc.description.abstract Abstract by author: en_US
dc.description.abstract No significant difference was found between the number and size ratio of lobsters collected from the bags, irrespective of their mesh size and/or location. A signficant difference in the number and size ratio was, however, found of lobsters sampled from the sheltered and exposed crates and between lobsters collected from the out- and/or inside of the sampled bags and crates en_US
dc.description.abstract Additional research, over a period of time, should be carried out to determine the effect of wind and sea water temperature on the settlement of the puerulus and juvenile lobsters. Information on the sex ratio and development phases of lobsters may aid in firther developing the current long-term monitoring project en_US
