dc.description.abstract The research results indicate, that the camps that were utilized by small stock were mostly under-utilized and those that were utilized by cattle were extremely under-utilized or sometimes also over-utilized. The findings indicate that the sensitivity of the different camps to grazing is largely related to the season of grazing and growth stage of grasses at utilization, stocking rate and the carrying capacity of the camps en_US
dc.description.abstract It was recommended that farmers in the Khomas highland should keep grazing management system that demands flexibility and mobility on the management of the farm, and monitor the veld productivity and adapt their stocking rate according to the changing carrying capacity en_US
