The long term prospects of the veterinary cordon fence in Namibia

This report focuses on the preceding activities and prospectives of the fence. It stresses the importance of the fence for future development. Interviews were conducted with the stakeholders and availing conclusions were made, which motivates and support the existence of the fence at this moment and time. The Namibian government are urged to establish a regional animal health project in collaboration with the neighbouring states and other Southern African Development Community (SADEC) member states
