The main purpose of the study was to find out how the youth are coping with the problem of information needs satisfaction especially those in Ombili location Katutura. Specifically the study looked at the information needed by the youth while at and when they leave school, it also looked at the existing sources of information, infrastructure like libraries, languages in which information was provided, also frequency of visiting the information centers by the youth
The study targeted the youth from the age of 15-25. From the two sexes, 50 females and 50 males were interviewed. To verify the result obtained from the respondents, six key informants were also interviewed. The main conclusion of the study was that there are limited information access centres around Ombili location. The youth have no access to information exchange facilities, like computers where they could send and receive e-mail. Although some of the respondents have access to information centers, the materials were irrelevant to their needs
