In July 2025, UNAM officially joined a Regional Academic Network promoting Social and Behaviour Change (SBC), underscoring its leadership in advancing Namibia’s development agenda. The initiative elevates social and behavioural sciences as core components of policy and public wellbeing, particularly in championing children's rights and community resilience. UNAM’s participation reflects a commitment to inter-institutional knowledge exchange and scholarly leadership in shaping inclusive, evidence-informed national transformation.
