dc.description From 11–16 May 2025, UNAM Cares and the Friedrich-Loeffler-Institute (FLI) spearheaded inclusive One Health interventions in Omatako Settlement and Nhoma Village, Tsumkwe Constituency (Otjozondjupa Region). Funded by Germany’s Global Health Protection Programme (GHPP), the initiative addressed community health, animal welfare, and environmental issues through education, rabies treatment, dog deworming, sanitation advocacy, and stakeholder dialogue. Guided by a community-based participatory research approach, the effort highlighted cross-sectoral collaboration and UNAM’s commitment to locally anchored, sustainable healthcare in underserved regions. en_US
