On 5 June 2025, UNAM and the Bank of Namibia formally extended their strategic cooperation agreement to 2029, reinforcing a decade-long partnership that advances education, interdisciplinary research, and national development. At a signing ceremony in Windhoek, Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ellen Namhila and Deputy Governor Ms. Leonie Dunn reaffirmed mutual goals of capacity building, innovation, and evidence-based policymaking. As part of its CSR commitment, the Bank will continue to provide expert lecturers and collaborate on research aligned with Vision 2030 and Namibia’s national development priorities, fostering a knowledge-driven economy.
