dc.description UNAM’s Southern Campus made a strong impression at the 6th SADC Groundwater Conference in Maseru, Lesotho (13–15 November 2024), showcasing research and capacity-building leadership in transboundary water management. Led by Drs. Josefina Hamutoko and Innocent Muchingami, the Geosciences team, presented 11 research contributions and earned an Outstanding Capacity-Building Award. Topics included hydro-geophysical technologies, isotope hydrology, and citizen science, with case studies from across Namibia. The conference emphasized peace, climate resilience, and regional collaboration, affirming UNAM’s Southern Campus as a force in sustainable groundwater governance. en_US
