dc.description UNAM’s Department of Psychology and Social Work has initiated a pioneering project to develop a Namibian-tailored psychometric assessment tool for industry-wide recruitment and selection. Funded by the African Centre for Technology Studies and overseen by NCRST, the initiative is led by a team of principal investigators—including Dr. Annelisa Murangi and Associate Professors Poonam Dhaka and Wesley Pieters. Through active engagement with public and private sector stakeholders, the project bridges academia and industry, ensuring the tool’s relevance. Pilot testing is set to begin October 2024, marking a key milestone in Namibia’s workforce development strategy. en_US
