dc.description Nina Holmlund, a Finnish exchange student, spent six transformative months at the University of Namibia’s Katima Mulilo Campus, where she joined final-year Wildlife Management and Tourism Studies students in the Ecological Methods in Wildlife Studies module. Her presence enriched the academic and cultural environment, fostering collaborative learning and cross-cultural friendships. Guided by Dr. Ezekiel Fabiano, the students engaged in hands-on ecological fieldwork, including bird surveys, pitfall trapping, and vegetation assessments. Nina’s passion for conservation and her adaptability left a lasting impression on her peers, exemplifying the power of international exchange in advancing both academic growth and global understanding. en_US
