Prof Judith Hall the leader of the Phoenix project was appointed Consul for Namibia in Wales. The Phoenix project concentrates on collaboration between Cardiff University and UNAM mainly in the medical field. The UNAM Library has undergone an external quality assurance exercise by 8 experts. The team leader was Janet Peters a Cardiff University librarian. The alumni of UNAM donated over N$ 100 000 and try to help current students by tutorials, pro bona consultations etc |
