dc.description A report in the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources en_US
dc.description.abstract This paper focuses on the traceability of fish and fish products in Namibia and the level of preparedness if a genuine recall were to happen in the fishing industry. A key issue is the ability to definitively identify fish and fish products and trace the fishing ground where they originated. High profile instances of food contamination high light the need for better seafood food traceability i.e. knowing when and where the products were produced with the ability to trace them back to the fishing grounds where they originated. en_US
