Abstract by author:
Data was collected in these camps using both methods for each transect laid. Three different transects measuring 60m per transect was laid in each camp. A total number of 1800 observations per method were carried out. Collected data were subjected to statistical analysis using the paired t-test. The analytical results indicated that there is a significant difference between the means of the two compared methods. The high significant difference indicates that the two methods cannot be used interchangeably because they will yield different results
